deleted file on desktop stilll lurking somewhere

Starting up KDE, I get this error from KWrite:

The file /home/<myusername>/Desktop/zzz could not be loaded, as it was not possible to read from it
Check if you have read access to the file

At one time, this file was on my desktop, but I deleted.
I guess KWrite is starting up automatically and looking for this file

How do I get rid of this?

OpenSuse 11.0
KDE 4.1
