Shortcuts of Application Menu doesn't work at all

I assigned shortcuts to several of the most used application but they doesn't work at all ;( . Do you know what is wrong?
Qt: 4.4.0
KDE: 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)) "release 40.4"
