volumen window freeze kde4.1

hi, i have kubuntu hardy with kde 3.5.9 and i installed kde4-desktop from ubuntu repositories to test (when 4.1 was announced), but when start X, in the moment the "sound" notification, a window with "volume" text appears and a bar progress with the percent of volume decrease to 0%, i can hear the sound.. BUT the windows be there, over other windows, and is impossible to work like that (i can't move it or close it).. and the sound is still there, i can modifiy the volume with kmix without problems.. It's a problem of configuration? a bug? another thing??? What can i do ?? thanks.. My box is a laptop Dell Latitude D600.. thanks...
