KNotes and Thunderbird

I'm a faithful Thunderbird and was playing around with KNotes. I wanted to use KNotes to send emails out if needed. When I modified the default line to apply to Thunderbirds command line structure, I found that when it opens up the window, it supplies the % parameters included in the KNotes config. How can I get around that, or am I stuck?
