(Solved)Dolphin doesn't display Previews & Thumbnails for over 1MB picture files

Hello,
Picture files over 1 Megabyte aren't displayed, only the generic "camera" picture.
I have tried to change the properties everywhere I can think of but to no avail.
I can change the max size in Ubuntu file viewer to take care of this problem.
In Kubuntu I can't do this, a far as I know.
Any suggestions, advice, or help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
cliff

I solved by changing to Gnome session, then going to the File Manager (Dolphin) from the menu. Once there I was able to edit preferences in the Metadata-Preview tab, increasing the maximum file size. When I changed back to KDE session the changes were in effect.
