Looking for a reliable download URL for older version

To whom it may concern:

I am requesting an absolutely, positively known URL where I can download KDE version >= 3.4, but less than nor equal to 4. Some of those links out there are in error or are out of date. If anybody can provide me with this accurate, reliable, and valuable piece of information, I would greatly appreciate it. Notice: it may be under a crack or crevice somewhere, will require seasoned guru. [KDE]

Thanks,

KDE Version

We are operating in a KDE forum. I would surmise that it would be safe to assume that when I said I am looking for a specific range of "versions", that the version that I am seeking are KDE versions. I went to the suggested website and looked all through all the directories and only saw a lot of isos and other miscellaneous that was not listed or identified as a "KDE". Sorry, but this was of no help. Thanks anyway.

Well, that depends on your skills. If you really want to have a specific KDE version, there is nothing wrong with pointing you to one of the favourite distros.
Even on http://www.kde.org/download/ under "KDE 3 series" there is a list of links to distros.
You could for sure download all the needed packages and compile them by yourself. But that's not the easiest step.
If you want it easy, just stay on your distro (according to another thread it is ubuntu 8.04) and use your package manager. There you find the 3.5.x desktop as an option. Simply search for kubuntu-desktop. It is based on the KDE3 series, whereas kubuntu-kde4-desktop is based on.... well, KDE4.
So try it this way, or try it the hard way by the above link.
