KDE3 and KDE4 different fonts rendering

Hi,

I have a laptop for which I used the Tahoma 8pts with KDE3 anti-aliased = disable which gives a very clear rendering.
Now with KDE4 I cannot get the same rendering.

Why?

Please how can I manage to have KDE4 fonts render same way as with KDE3...

Fonts are very important ..!!
