Mouse actions for the destop in KDE 4

Hi All,

First of congratulations to the KDE team and all the contributors on KDE 4. Thanks for the new version and all of your hard work.
After using KDE 4.0.5 on Fedora 9 for a few days I am finding that I really miss the ability to right-click on the desktop and get a list of all open windows and which virtual desktops they are on. This is/was a feature in KDE 3.x. Anyone know how to get this working in KDE 4 or if it will be included in a future version?
While I am at it I've noticed a few other 3.x features that seem to be missing in 4.0 (at least of F9).
  1. middle-click on the desktop to display the application menu
  2. use the mouse wheel to switch virtual desktops
  3. A kpager like pager (shows the icon apps that are open on the various desktops)

  4. separate backgrounds for virtual desktops
  5. the panel not spanning both monitors in a nVidia TwinView setup. I have no idea what works on other multi-monitor setups
  6. tree-view in dolphin
  7. And for the life of me I can't get the spell-checker working in kate.
Sorry I kept on going after my initial query but the other seven just popped into my head... now I have to figure out what they popped out ;)
