kmail , old-messages exportage or backup

Hi,
I am a kde user, rel. 3.5.9, and I use kmail for my email...

I would like to know if exist a way to select all old-messages and export them or backup them to an archive

for old messages I say the oldest messages of a certain date

I usually just copy the mail folders to a usb stick. Depending on your system they will be stored in your home folder - under 'mail' or as a hidden folder under 'kmail'. Also a good idea to copy your mail settings. These are stored in a hidden folder under your home directory .kde/share/config as:-

emailidentaties

&

kmailrc

I would like to select only all old-messages...
