Fedora 9 &Kate

I've installed Fedora 9 (with KDE4). But the Kate editor id absent. (there is only kwrite in editor's tab). Where is Kate?

Hi, for some reason Kate is bundled with kdesdk and not installed by default in fedora (from LiveCD anyway) even though katepart is still in kdelibs - completely mad.

Kate should be left in kdebase!

^ Seems intelligent. You can always compile the sourcecode for kate :whistling:

Peace
