klauncher segfaults

I'm running Gentoo fully patched, and I'm running Kde4.0.3 with compiz-fusion 0.7.4. i used this part of a gentoo howto to make compiz start-up as the default displace manager.

kde seems not to like this. Klauncher segfaults , and gives me this in my dmesg

Also it hangs during load, compzi wont load if a window isn't already open for it to replace. so i have to leave a console window open in the session or it wont work properly. Kde seems to be trying to figure out why klauncher isn't responding. it times out and continues loading the sound icon,knetworkmanager, kclickboard etc...

How can i further debug this to submit a bug on this activity?
