Kmail/Kontact transfer status bar issue

I started fooling around with Kontact for the first time (and so far the exchange calendar supports seems to work just fine!) and I enabled a "feature" I'd like to turn off, but can't figure out how.

I'm using IMAP, and by default when Kmail has to talk to the server there was a little status bar in the bottom right of the window. I'm trying to get this back.

Because I had just setup my imap account, I clicked on the transfer thing to see how much it was going to be downoalded. Now, instead of the tiny little status bar, I get a big box in the bottom right that pops up for EACH transfer. A typical html e-mail will pop up two or three of these boxes. While it isn't the end of the world, it is distracting and I'd like to switch it back to the default of the small status bar.

I searched help, google, and this forum and didn't really find anything about that.

Does any one know how to revert the status bar? Is there some global ui reset to defaults?

Thanks.
