message stuck in inbox

openSuSe 10.3
KDE 3.5.9 / 51.2
Konqueror 3.5.9,
Kontact Container 1.2.9
Kmail 1.9.9

I have an email message stuck in the inbox. It will not delete. I was able to forward it to my wife to read but it just will not go away. I have opened and closed Kontact, even restarted my computer, but it is still there. How can I remove the email?

Answered my own question.

reading and digging I was able locate my inbox folder.

/home/me/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/inbox/cur

I Identified the email I wanted to get rid of and deleted it. The inbox in Kontact then listed the un-removable email as (Subject "unknown") and (Sender "unknown") I then was able to delete the unknown email from Kontact inbox.
