How to set-up KMail-Kontakt for sharing mail data between installations, via a seperate /data partit

Hello,

I have installed the following openSUSE/KDE installations on my new desktop:
10.3
10.3 + KDE4
11.0 - alpha2

To use my data in all the installations I have setup one(1) separate /data
partition and a separate /home partition for each installation that are
mounted automatically during bootup of each installation.

For a lot of applications I could easily set-up the default path to the data
eg: in KDE pointing to document path via personal-setting/system-adm/path
in Amarok to collection folders via settings/configure-Amarok/collection
in Digikam to collection via settings/configure-digikam/collection

But for KMail-Kontact I can not find a solution, keeping in mind that I want
to keep configuration data separate per installation sothat I can easily
reinstall by not formatting /home and /data during installation.

Any suggestion ?
