ERROR: Couldn't attach to DCOP server

Hi,

I have Ubuntu 7.10 and KDE 3.5.8 and I would like to use dcop but when I write dcop in a teminat it says me:

ERROR: Couldn't attach to DCOP server!

Any help? Sorry for my english
