New installation of KDE - font too small!

Yesterday I installed KDE to run alongside my Ubuntu Deb (which is normal). For some reason, the typeface of KDE is so small as to be unreadable. I am able to change this locally but globally it remains tiny . I feel sure that there must be a quick fix for this problem but after 24 hours trying, I can't find it.

Answers gratefully received.

K Menu > System Settings > Appearance > Fonts.

If there's no System Settings entry on the K Menu type 'kcontrol' at a command prompt and follow your nose.

I'm facing same problem too

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to adjust my KDE4 font sizes but It seems that it is not working...
The problem is that font sizes are not the same in different contexts. For instatnce, if I choose a "general font" size 12, that size is not the same inse windows as in desktop icon's names... I attach a screenshot showing system preferences windows with my font sizes and the desktop and task bar font sizes. The latests are bigger than those ones in system settings' window. Is this a bug? I'm runnung Kubuntu 7.10.

Thanks in advance.

well i did not have a font problem with all fonts, like the poster and my font problem was in KBFX which is the start menu. But you go to (settings) than to (KBFX comfigure). settings if you use this version of start menu. Hope this helps
