kate external tools question

hey guys, i currently have a little script that i call from kat via the external tools. right now, it opens the whole thing in a new terminal, but i was wondering if it would be possible to instead of calling the script in a new terminal window, if it would be possible to instead call it in the konsole that is integrated via kpart. so instead of a new window coming up, it just shows it to me on the bottom of the screen, and then minimizes back down.

anyone know how to do this?
