kmail + gmail + imap + filtering

Hi,
I got gmail account and I don't know how to set up correctly IMAP. Right now I can read and send email, but i wanna have them sorted to special folders in my client (KMail). After adding IMAP account I had folders "inbox" and "[Gmail]". The latter with some sub-folders. Where should I made my own folders? In inbox or in [Gmail]/All/? Or maybe somewhere else? May I add filters in KMail or should I made them on gmail account (there is such option)? Right now I have filters on gmail but new emails show in: Inbox, Inbox/my_folder and [Gmail]/All. I wanna have them only in one place. How to make it?

RE: kmail + gmail + imap + filtering

Hey,

I dont have a answer for your problem however I just wanted to throw my two cents in. I have a gmail account and set it up for IMAP and added filters as well. Unfortunately the only filter that works is for one address not all 5 or 6 I set up. Any idea why this might be?
