kde-4 migration issues

Hello,

Maybe someone will be able to help, until now I could not switch to kde-4...

Here are some of my issues:

1. Have someone got kmilo running? In 3.5 it had configuration panels at kcontrol, now I cannot find it anywhere... I can see that the service is installed and running, but strace of kded shows no activity. I emerged kcontrol which is a separate package now, and still no clue...

2. The task bar is too large... In the old version I could do kcontrol->Desktop->Panels->Size->Tiny to reduce the size... Now I cannot find an option to do this.

3. At kde-3.5 I could open the k menu using <Alt><F1>, this does not work anymore... Any alternative shortcuts? (<Alt><F2> works as expected)

4. The battery applet/widget shows that my computer always connected to power cord... Any idea why?

5. The esound interface produce some "click" noise whenever it starts play sound... Could not find any useful configuration option.

6. dcop is not available anymore, I understand that dbus is somewhat better... But how can I access the runtimes objects from the command-line without writing dbus application? For example, how can I do: dcop kmix Mixer0 masterVolume

Thanks!
