installation from svn on binaries distros.

Hello. I am linux newbie, and I need advice. I had kde4 svn on my gentoo linux system, but later I have swithced on ubuntu. How I can use kde4 svn on debian-like distro? I mean if I'll compile it and install "by hand" I will not control it, like removing etc. Maybe there are exists some tool for doing that? Thanks.
