Kubuntu – Unable to set images as desktop background

Hi,

On Kubuntu (7.10 and before), I am unable to right click on an image and set as wallpaper. I initially thought this to be Firefox bug but then Konqueror was unable to do it either.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a site with images (e.g. google.com)
2. Attempt to set the image as desktop background

Actual Results:
On Firefox v.2 running, the "Set as Desktop Background" option is missing
On v.3b, although the option is displayed, there is no effect.
On Konqueror, the old wallpaper is removed and the screen is just gray

Additional Information
I have raised this on Bugzilla too ( 409498 ) and would appreciate any feedback. I do not see this bug on Ubuntu.

Tschüss,
Saj
