Installation Problems

When I chose KDE4 at the login screen, enter credentials and login I get the following error:

Call to lnusertemp (temporary directories full?). Check installation.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this or what it is talking about?

From what i can tell, you may not have permission to your /home directory anymore.

I found these two links that may help. They are from other forums so you may have to dig through them.
Call to lnusertemp (temporary directories full?)

an upgrade of my initial installation of KDE4 did it. thanks for the help
