Unable to Login to KDE

I did a dist-upgrade and had an error with hotkey-setup. I tried to open KDE before the upgrade had completed fully. I think I only half upgraded and know KDE will not start. I have since fixed the d-u error, but can still no login to KDE. The login screen appears, not non of the users can login
