Cannot receive webcam via Yahoo IM

Trying to help a friend using Ubuntu 7.10 and Kopete 0.12. I use Yahoo IM and we have no problems communicating. Have attempted to send webcam via Yahoo IM but my friend only sees frame and black image. Can someone suggest some simple things to check or actions required to remedy the problem and view/ receive a webcam video stream through Yahoo IM. Have researched archives and see this is perhaps a common problem, but can't find a simple solution or fix. Anyone out there help? Thx.

But other persons can see you ? I think you have a problem in YM options for webcam. Ctrl+P,select Webcam options and here select a device .This could solve the problem .
Download WinZip
and WinRar
