KDE4 Unable to lanuch programs

Greetings - I am new to running SUSE (Latest Ver) with KDE3 that came with it. I installed KDE4 RC 2 using the one click install. All was installed ok and reported as successful. However when I go and try any of the /KDE4 programs the cursor starts jumping as if it is loading for a few seconds. Then just disappears. AND NOTHING. I am able to call in USA toll free if phone contact is needed.
