slow keys - needs redesign. badly.

when i've activated slow keys accidentally (i didnt know it existed before), i thought my laptop keyboard is already broken. for most kde newbies like me, the only logical move is to do a reinstallation. luckily i didnt have to. did the designers ever thought about this feature before adding it?
there was no indicator that "slow keys" is currently active. how about a little icon on the taskbar to tell the user their PC is not really DAMAGED? good idea?.
im sure all user who encountered it thought the same. i think the design is not so bright at all.
it shouldnt even be activated with a shortcut at all. a shortcut that no one really knows it existed.

RE: slow keys - needs redesign. badly.

I can see your point. There is some precation taken though, by default, anytime it eats one of your keys there will be a sound.
For the moment the best solution is a bug report on the KDE bugzilla.
