Kdesu & kdesudo ignore button's purpose?

What is the purpose of the "Ignore" button on the kdesu and kdesudo login window? I'm guessing it means "Log in without password" but I don't know when it would be used. I've set up sudoers to allow me to sudo w/out password, which is when I expected it to work, but it still just closes the window without launching the target app. So far it appears to be a redundant "Cancel" button, though I'm sure there is a use as this is kde, not windows.

Thanks!
