Images preview OK - Images edition is BAD.

Hello, I have a problem with some images that have recovered from a hard disk, the preview images in this well KDE (thumbnail images), but not the same thing happens when you run any editor or viewer, that the images are bad... But, well Konqueror previewing images, then ask does anyone know how to change the default size of the icons preview offered by the configuration konqueror?
The idea is to get a size preview of at least 1024 * 768, hopefully 1280 * 960...

Here leaves three links to pictures, the first is a preview in normal size and the second in size huge, the third image is a taste of what is seen as in any image editor or previsualizador:
