Thunderbird tray icon in 3.5.5?

(Probably misusing this forum because it has the most hits ;-))

Is it possible to have a tray icon for Thunderbird (Icedove in Debian/Etch) in KDE 3.5.5, so that it animates whenever new messages arrive?

Answering to myself (sorry): icedove-traybiff seems to do the trick.

RE: Thunderbird tray icon in 3.5.5?

Hi Rihad,
I think it only works with the version of thunderbird that is packaged in Debian Etch.
I am trying to make it work with custom installed thunderbird, any Idea how it can be made to work with custom installations?

thnx in advance
