Copying Screen with Ksnapshot

I want to capture the image on my screen and then paste it into an e-mail. However, all I've been able to get Ksnapshot to do is to paste the hyperlink of the path on my desktop where the image file is located. How can I paste the actual image rather than the hyperlink into an e-mail?

Thank you.

Save the picture as a file by using "Save As..." and upload it as an attachment, cause I'm not sure that you can paste pictures as a clipboard content in an email.
