Kmuddy

I am attempting to install and use the application Kmuddy (www.kmuddy.com). I am using KDE3.5 via MacPorts. When I ./configure kmuddy I get this:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021) and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

I installed the mac version of qt-4.3.2, but still get that error. Any suggestions, please? I am an admitted total newb at this.

Thanks,
Jonathan
