Using Run command window (Alt+F2) to do math calc

Hello, I apologyze for my bad english :-)

I have to write an article about some tricks for KDE. I'm trying to use the Run command window (opened by pressing Alt+F2) to do some basic math calc.

Unfortunately, under Mepis 6.5 and KDE 3.5.3, the Run command window seems to use only integer number (if I try 5/2 I get 2 and not 2.5).

I asked into KDE irc channel and someone had the same problem, but changing distro all worked well.

Someone can tell me what kind of configuration I have to change to obtain the right results, please?
