Ksysguard - No Disk Read stats?

I'm setting up a server using Fedora 7 and KDE 3.5.7-9. Using ksysguard I want to monitor a couple of disk partitions. I've set up a display and added Read/Write Access sensors. But I never see any Read activity, only Write. This happens for both Disk Access and Data sensors. If I add the Total Accesses sensor it is identical to the Write sensor.

For example, I have two partions /part1 and /part2. I have one display for each with Read and Write sensors set for both. If I copy a large file from /part1 to /part2, I see a Write spike on the display for /part2, but no corresponding Read spike on /part1. If I copy in the other direction, the display is reversed.

Does anyone have any idea on how I can see Disk Read data?
