screen lock bug

Hi.
I have a bug in the "screen lock" feature in KDE.
When clicking on the "lock screen" option (in all possible places : K-menu, right-click menu, task bar shortcut) nothing happens.
Automatic screen saver doesn't lock it either, just screen saver.
I have tried "kdesktop_lock -forcelock" and it works.
However, I am trying to fix the problem completely.
I also tried the following :
# kdcop (excute in shell)
# go to : kdesktop --> KScreensaverIface
# first double click on 'void quit()'
# then double click on 'void lock()'

This fixes the problem every time, but after a few times it reoccurs.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this bug?

Thank you
