Control Center - Sys Administration problem

Hello,

I've just installed KDE3.5, everything works fine, except that I cannot make any changes to the System Administration (Login Manager, etc).
Whenever I select the Administrator Mode, I can provide the root password, it returns me welcome screen of KDE control center, but whenever I select the Login Manager (or anything else under System Administration, I cannot make any changes.

Is there anything special I need to configure to get this going.

I initially started with the FreeBSD port KDE-lite, then deinstalled this and installed the full kde3 port but I still have the same problem.

Thanks,
