where is KDE 4 beta 1

Did i miss something?
In official KDE 4 release schedule deadline for first beta is july 26.
It is 1 of August but no news from KDE camp.

did i mis something?

I heard on the ubuntu forums that there was talk of it being pushed back to august...

I suppose that's why they shouldn't have set such an early release date and tried to stick to that schedule
