How do I view a Yahoo webcam?

In one distro (can't remember which one now) I attempted to view a friend's webcam when he asked me to. It didn't work but I got an error message in Kopete which said I had to install Jasper, I think it was. It's a plug in. Now I'm receiving an error message simply telling me I don't have the necessary Yahoo plug in. Can anyone clarify or lead me into the right direction for configuring so I can view his webcam?
