Systray icons not displayed

Hi,

KMix, KNetLoad and KCpuLoad were working fine with Mepis+KDE.
But after having booted with PCLinuxOS+KDE once, their icons are not displayed in the KDE (Mepis) systray anymore. The process is run and displayed in KSysGuard list. Not better if KMix, KNetLoad and KCpuLoad reinstalled.
I add that my /home is common with Mepis and PCLinuxOS setup, so are the KDE config files. Something has been probably changed in these files after PCLinuxOS has been booted, but what ?

Thanks.

RE: Systray icons not displayed

Hi,

I found the solution and I feel silly. For some reason, the applet "notification area" has been unloaded, so it is necessary to add it to the panel and all the systray icons are back (KMix, KNetLoad, KCpuLoad, KAlarm, KNemo, Superkaramba, etc). If this post could help some other silly guys like me...

Thanks.
