Meeting times are wrong.

When someone sends me a meeting invitation from outlook the meeting times show up many hours later than they are set in outlook. I get these reminders daily from my wife and others and the times are always wrong. Is this a known issue? Am I doing something stupid?
We have confirmed correct times on the outlook side and they still come in my kmail/kontact completely wrong.

RE: Meeting times are wrong.

Did you set your timezone under Settings-> Configure Calendar -> Time and Date?

Thanks, I think that will do it. I feel kinda stupid. Is there a logical reason that It would not use the system TZ by default?

RE: Meeting times are wrong.

None that I can find. I think that it has to do with the philosophy of KDE: Customize everything.

If you were using a thin client type app, where the server was in another timezone, I can see the need to be able to set it, but it should default to environment TZ.
