starting remote KDE applications

after I have started my main desktop, I also want to start additional KDE applications
residing on different remote hosts. I may do this either by using old-scool "ssh/export
DISPLAY" commandlining, or I may start a complete KDE sessions on each host
separately, to get access to its remote kmenus. But then I have to switch back and forth
between different desktops.

Q: is there a way, to get the remote start menu (or any other widged) running stand-alone,
either as a single button/icon on the desktop, or even integrated as a second (remote) start
menu into my current local kpanel?

Dieter.
