session saving/restoring doesn't work

Hello, guys,

I have "Restore previous session" set in Session Manager, however it doesn't work as it should anymore (I don't recall the exact moment it started misbehaving). Apps like yakuake, superkaramba or konqueror are indeed restored properly, however it isn't the case with kmail, ktorrent or amarok - I have to start them manually after logging in. I tried with a fresh .kde folder and it seems to work like intended, however (IIRC, was some time ago) after I started setting up the desktop my preferred way it stopped restoring said apps again.

Although it isn't the most annoying quirk in the world, any ideas concerning said misbehaviour will be welcome nevertheless.

I'm using KDE 3.5.6 on Archlinux.

Cheers,

lucke
