Kmail Configuration Help Needed

The "select" button of kmail's Message Composer displays my email addresses with solid dark blue bands obscuring every other address. Does anyone know how to get rid these color bands?

I succeeded in eliminating these color bands in my address book
by using the address book's View menu * Modify View * Look&Feel and changing options Alternating Backgrounds to ---> None. However, this had no affect on my composer select button's dialog box

I also checked the kmailrc configuration file but the only thing I found there that could possibly have some effect was the section labeled [RecipientPicker]. This section only has these two entries:

CurrentCollection=1
Size=413,282

Thanks for reading this post & I hope to hear from you soon.

Kmail Configuration problem ---Solved

I discovered the kmail color bands were due to a setting in the Kde Control Center called "Widget Colors" * "Alternating Background List"

Thanks to all of you that took the time to read my post & Long Live Kde ---Stan
