image map

Hello forum,

Using the GIMP I have made an image map that connects me instantly to a group of things that are important (personal) to me such as;
webmail, mythweb, bank, isp, firewall, webserver services, work folders, blog, sql-ledger, stocks, database management etc.

The image map is linked to my browsers "home page" so I can with a click on the house icon on the browser instantly bring forth the image map.

I made the image map to help my wife find her way to places however, it has come as a suprise to me that I find myself using the browser image map every day. It suits the way I work / live.

Is anyone in the forum having a similar experience?

It would be great if the image map were easier to setup than at present gimp way.

I am keen to pursue this direction further.
