Korganizer - loosing appointments

Korganizer - loosing appointments

I have all my appointments stored in a folder called /mnt/My Documents/Mail/Kmail/Calendar/std.ics

As I'm starting to play with different linux distros, I'd like to point each distro to the same location for my mail, contract, and calendar.

I've managed to do that for the Mail and Contact. Korganizer however, does not pick up my old appointments. When I install new linux distro and edit the Korganizer resource to point to /mnt/My Documents/Mail/Kmail/Calendar/std.ics I still get a blank calendar?

Can anyone help with this?
I'm running KOrganizer 3.5.6
