switching desktop with mouse

switching desktop with mouse

Hi again

another question...

is it possible to configure kde to switch between desktops, when the mouse "touch" the right ou left edge, switching to the nex or previous desktop?

once again, I'm trying E17 for 2 weeks and this kind of stuff is very helpfull faster than the click on the desktop-swither...

Really? That sounds really annoying to me. It's too easy to accidentally touch the edge of the screen.

For what it's worth, Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab also switch the desktop.

in the begining it was dificult for me too...

i don't know if it is a good or bad thing, but i really apreciate... for me, it's easier than keyboard shortcuts...

Yes you can.

in kde1 it was enabled by default, but because it confused people, it is now disabled by default.

in kcontrol, go to [Desktop -> window behavior -> tab Advanced]

You see the section [active desktop edges]
Choose the radio button for the behavior you want to get.
