Editing the main context menu

Is there a way to edit the main context menu?
Not the Actions menu and other submenus, but the main context menu.

RE: Editing the main context menu

You can only add items and not remove them. Adding them can be done by adding an action similar to the ones in the Action menu, and put the following line of such desktop file:
