emerge kde-meta dies at krdc-3.5.5

I just installed gentoo using install-amd64-minimal-2006.1 on this system: athlon64 4000+, nvidia 6600gt, maxtor ata/133 120gb hdd. I then gave the command emerge kde-meta, which installed the first 103 packages without error. But at package 104 I got:

>>> Emerging ( 104 of 368 ) kde-base/krdc-3.5.5 to /
.
.
.
!!! ERROR: kde-base/krdc-3.5.5 failed

!!! died running emake, kd_src_compile: make

Could someone explain what the problem is?

My /etc/make.conf:

CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -pipe -O2"
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
MAKEOPTS="-j2"
CONFIG_PROTECT="-*"

SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"

RE: emerge kde-meta dies at krdc-3.5.5

I think the Gentoo forum or bugtracker may have a better idea what is going on.
