very slow internet

Hi, I have installed desktopBSD 1.0 with KDE as gui on my T20 IBM laptop. KDE is working fine, but when I browse the internet (by wire) things go insanely slowly.

does anybody have an idea how and what can be done about it?

Thanks!

/Alan

RE: very slow internet

I wonder if this is really a KDE issue. The only KDE related answer I can find now is to put the line

Source code

1
KDE_NO_IPV6="1"

in ~/.bashrc
