Katapult feature request

I am moving from Windows to Linux - Kubuntu and one of the things I really miss in Linux is this small open source program:

It is so far superior to Katapult and yet very small.

For example in Katapult I have to type in half of the name before the program gets recognized. In launchy all I had to do was press S (for skype) and it would list all the programs starting with S, I would choose Skype once and from there on, next time I wanted to launch Skype, I would just press "Alt+Space" and type S and press Enter.

I hope that katapult will get an update to have more features like launchy.
