changing one icon's image changes all icons to same on desktop

All,

I have KDE 3.5 running on Slackware 11.0. When I change the image of one icon of a symlink on my desktop all other icons on my desktop inherit this image change.

For example changing firefox's icon's image will also change googleearths icon's image to same after doing a refresh desktop (right mouse click).

Anyone know why ?

Thanks,
Fabian

RE: changing one icon's image changes all icons to same on desktop

It's okay, figured it out. Had to right mouse click and make link to application. What I did was manually "ln -s app"
